Today I am thankful for peaceful passings. If you have to go, and we all will someday, at home and surrounded by family is the way to be.

Grandma died today. Heart and kidney failure. She chose hospice care instead of hospital procedures and she died at home, at peace, and holding Grandpa’s hand. I think it was the best possible way to go, but she will be missed dearly.
