The kids were pretty excited about the advent calendar this morning. That made me happy. However, I got the biggest reaction from them when I said “yes, it’s ok to eat the candy this morning.” :) There was a small piece of chocolate for each of them. Eve automatically started unwrapping her piece, but Lex stopped her. Then he turned to me and with his sweetest voice asked if they could please eat their candy before breakfast. I agreed and his eyes grew wide as he uttered, “really?!” Haha… I like it when I get to be fun mommy!

I love how nicely they worked together here. I hope that lasts all month.

I turned off the flash so now they look like they're moving a lightening speed! They each counted the remaining ornaments to see how many days are left until Christmas.

While I made breakfast Lex decided to have a photo shoot with Eve. Amazingly, she cooperated for a few minutes. It was funny to listen to him posing her and demonstrating the poses he wanted her to do… just like the photographer at The Picture People did with us last week.
