Lex is so cranky tonight. I think he has a
stomach problem. He seems ok for a few minutes then starts
wailing like he’s in horrible pain. I feel so bad for him. He
won’t even nurse for more than a few minutes at a time. I wish
I could make it all better so he didn’t hurt. I also wish I
knew why he hurts so we won’t let it happen again. Wish me luck
for a peaceful night :)
Calm and Chaos: Life with kids
Does he have a stuffy nose? Andy usually
has a hard time nursing when he has trouble breathing which
then makes him very distressed. If it’s gas, try laying him on
his back and lifting his legs up. When his legs are down,
massage his tummy in a circle. The other thing we try when all
else fails is gripe water.
