1. What should I call this blog? “Family blog” and “Lex & Eve” are pretty uncreative. Wilder Johnsons? Who can give me a great, creative title?
2. What should I be when I grow up? Something that is fun, interesting, and flexible. Good pay would be nice too :)
Since I’m unable to write a post without mentioning the kids (I just can’t do it!) I’ll add that Eve went apple picking today with her daycare group. Isn’t that cute?! I’m excited to pick her up and see if she had fun :) I started getting newsletters from the daycare (they always do them but I don’t always get them since we only go part-time) and it’s amazing how much they do with the kids, in terms of both activities and education. I’m really impressed!
dear tessa, you should call your blog ‘grateful family’ b/c all your family is so grateful that you keep us updated with anecotes, news, worries, smiles and milestones from your beautiful children- although ‘wilder johnsons’ is pretty catchy and funny too
what should you be when you grow up? happy
but for now you should be patient
your path will unfold when the time is right
when your children no longer need you so much, someone or somethingelse will and you will know when the time is right
until then, enjoy your days and sunshine and keep on blogging so we can enjoy even tho we are far away
love and blessings, mom
Moms always say it best!
I agree w her : )
I like a variation of “Wilder Johnsons” actually… “Johnsons in the Wild” sounds cool to me.
And yes, happy first… enjoy what u have now with great gratitude… that opens u up for even more better. The trick is the now.
Another thought… do what you love and the money will follow. When you love and believe in something you do with enthusiasm and passion, it’s infectious, and it draws people… and their wallets. And don’t forget to mix in a healthy dose of generosity when the wealth starts rollin’ in to… those acts of gratitude keep the resources fresh and growing.
Love,
Aunt Mandy
Blog name suggestion…just flip the words. “Johnsons – Wilder?”
And we’ll all wonder. When you grow up?? I don’t think we ever do, I think we continuously morph from one level to another, the one constant will be your heart. So as your wise Mom said follow your heart, which is to say happiness. And you’ll never go wrong. Love your whole family…from top to bottom. :-)
How about “Planets of Dried Soup”? (I’m especially fond of your kids’ quotes, if you can’t tell!)
How about “Planets of Dried Soup”? (I’m obsessed with your kids’ quotes, can you tell?!)
Apparently, I also am having an issue with repetition….
