We had this reservoir that was so beautiful. The pond is surrounded by trees and there are trails all around. There is a cute little “house” in the middle, that (I think) was used to monitor water levels. My friend and I used to hike there a lot and on a Mother’s Day hike one year (OMG, look at how skinny I was back then!!) I even took an awesome photo there that ended up in the newspaper! Sadly the dam was structurally failing and there wasn’t enough money in the budget to fix it, so the town had to drain the reservoir. I stopped by there today to check it out and I was blown away with the changes! It looks so destroyed! So sad.

There used to be water there.
