I emailed our pedi last night (we have the
\n best pedi in the world!) and she wasn’t happy that the doctor
\n prescribed Amoxicillian for just pinkeye so she asked me to
\n bring Lex in to her office today. We couldn’t get an
\n appointment with her, but we saw another doctor at her office
\n who diagnosied him with acute octitis conjunctivitis (or
\n something like that – basically ear\/eye infection) and she
\n prescribed a different medication (which cost me $50!!!) Our
\n pedi emailed later in the afternoon to check in and answered
\n some additional questions I had. Like I said – the best pedi
\n ever!<\/p>\n
Unfortunately this morning Alan
\n started feeling sick too (sore throat, painful ears, etc.) He
\n called and made an appointment with the doctor for him and I
\n tomorrow. I’ve still been taking the pinkeye drops though,
\n because my eyes were definitely red and gunky and the drops
\n seem to be helping. I have to wear glasses for a few days
\n though – blah!! <\/p>\n
So that’s the update.
\n Hopefully we get a little sleep tonight. The past two nights
\n have been awful. <\/p>\n
However, on the up
\n side, Lex has become an expert at getting his nose wiped. He
\n used to hate it, now he sits patiently, almost expectantly. He
\n even watches me blow my nose then makes a little face and
\n sticks his nose at me for wiping :) I love him!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
