The problem is, though Lex hasn&#8217;t noticed<br \/>\n    the new latches, I notice them all the time when I go to swing<br \/>\n    the cabinet open and it snaps back abruptly &#8212; really<br \/>\n    obnoxious. But I keep telling myself, better safe than sorry.<br \/>\n    :)<\/p>\n<p>Now if we could just figure out a<br \/>\n    good way to baby-proof the stairs (or just get the hell out of<br \/>\n    this appartment).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With Lex going on 14 months old we finally got around to putting safety latches on some of the cabinets.
