He<br \/>\n    makes me so happy. I&#8217;ve been reading my Baby Zig blog and the<br \/>\n    first few months on this blog to remind myself about pregnancy<br \/>\n    and newborns. It seems like forever ago. I&#8217;m dreading the<br \/>\n    complete lack of sleep (I slept in one hour bursts!!) but I&#8217;m<br \/>\n    excited about the rest. And every time I look at Lex I&#8217;m just<br \/>\n    amazed at the process. I wonder if we could ever make such a<br \/>\n    perfect being again. Poor Baby 2 might be doomed from the<br \/>\n    start. :)<\/p>\n<p><a onblur=\"try\n    {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/985\/777\/1600\/summer06%20325.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer;\n    cursor:hand;\" src=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/985\/777\/200\/summer06%20325.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><a onblur=\"try\n    {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/985\/777\/1600\/summer06%20336.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer;\n    cursor:hand;\" src=\"http:\/\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/985\/777\/200\/summer06%20336.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a>We made apple pie yesterday.<br \/>\n    Lex helped by standing on the chair and eating the apples. He<br \/>\n    also threw in a few of his own ingredients (measuring spoon,<br \/>\n    jar of cinnamon, etc.). Today he got back up on the chair to<br \/>\n    eat grapes out of the sink (collendar) while I made lunch. He&#8217;s<br \/>\n    is so helpful. Actually, yesterday he really was helpful when I<br \/>\n    was packing the closet. He put all of our shoes into the bottom<br \/>\n    of the wardrobe box and then he put all of the extra hangers<br \/>\n    into the box too. It was really very helpful and he worked so<br \/>\n    hard! <\/p>\n<p>Ok, it&#8217;s late now and I gotta get<br \/>\n    lots of sleeping in before March :)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love this little man.
