A local Co-op holds an event each year
\n called Dairy Days. They have vendors (local farms) come with
\n samples of of their dairy products and there are games for the
\n kids and horse drawn wagon rides and stuff. I’ve seen the ads
\n each year, but this is the first time we actually made got
\n there. It was fun. We ate lots of ice cream and greek yogurt. I
\n even had a root beer float, which I haven’t had in ages! Then
\n we went home and had salad for lunch! :)<\/p>\n

\n the face painting booth. The lady actually stamped her face and
\n colored it in with marker, so the whole thing went pretty
\n quickly.<\/div>\n

I think it’s a space ship. Not sure. She doesn’t
\n seem to sure about it either!<\/span><\/div>\n

Enjoying the wagon ride? This was probably the one
\n disappointment of the day. I showed Lex the ad in the paper
\n while we had breakfast (to get him excited and motivated to get
\n dressed and leave the house!) and he got super excited about
\n the hay rides. He was eager to play in the hay (like a book we
\n have). When we got there all he wanted to do was find the hay
\n rides, bypassing ice cream and all. We stopped at a cookie
\n booth and he grabbed a cookie, but held on to it until the hay
\n ride. We finally found the hay ride and Lex stopped short when
\n he noticed there was NO HAY! It was just horse drawn wagon
\n rides. He was not amused and it took a little cajoling to even
\n get him in the wagon.<\/div>\n

Enjoying the
\n ice cream? Really they did :) I think the sun is in their eyes,
\n or the ice cream is cold, or something. Really they did enjoy
\n the ice cream!<\/div>\n

They both really enjoyed the Stonyfield Farms Greek
\n Yogurt. We sat and watched a magician while they ate.
\n <\/span><\/div>\n

Eve also likes the yogurt. I’ve been annoyed with
\n my camera lately because the picture doesn’t match what I saw
\n in the view finder. I saw a lot more of her eyes and hat. She’s
\n adorable anyway.<\/span><\/div>\n
