If that makes sense.  I think that&#8217;s why I&#8217;m drawn to nursing and teaching.  Too bad I don&#8217;t like touching yucky things.  <\/p>\n<p>I went to visit and bring dinner to a couple who just lost their four year old son to an aggressive brain tumor.  He died two weeks ago, to the day.  I would call them good acquaintances, but not close friends.  However, over the past few weeks I have wanted to do everything possible to take care of them.  I&#8217;ve had to restrain myself because I don&#8217;t really know them that well.  Tonight I found myself resisting the urge to wrap them both in my arms and hug all the pain away.  Impossible, I know, but that&#8217;s what I really wanted to do!  Instead I brought them fresh salad, warm chowder, homemade bread and chocolate chip cookies.
