He<br \/>\nregularly walks over to Eve when she is accessible around head<br \/>\nheight, leans in so his face is within a few inches of hers, and<br \/>\nwith his cute, high-pitched, happy-voice, says &#8220;See? &#8230;<br \/>\nSee?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He will repeat this three or four<br \/>\ntimes before moving on to other activities. These other<br \/>\nactivities often include sweet little kisses, mildly<br \/>\nover-enthusiastic hugs, and most recently, trying to pick her<br \/>\nup or, &#8220;hold the baby,&#8221; as he says. Obviously, we are trying to<br \/>\ntame the last two for the short term, but so far, Eve has not<br \/>\ncomplained beyond a few subtle grunts and squeaks. She appears<br \/>\nto be an easy going soul, which she will need if the peace is<br \/>\nto be kept as they get older.
