{"id":725,"date":"2007-05-11T03:24:00","date_gmt":"2007-05-11T03:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tessa.datdec.com\/wordpress\/?p=725"},"modified":"2007-05-11T03:24:00","modified_gmt":"2007-05-11T03:24:00","slug":"out-of-the-crib","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/familyblog.datdec.com\/?p=725","title":{"rendered":"Out of the crib"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For a long time now Lex has had the<br \/>\n    ability to get out of his crib, but never had the inclination.<br \/>\n    Tonight, after we&#8217;d all been asleep for awhile, he suddenly<br \/>\n    started wailing (he does this sometimes, he doesn&#8217;t sleep well<br \/>\n    these days). Alan went in to check on him and found him in the<br \/>\n    middle of the room, crying and saying &#8220;hurt self, hurt self.&#8221; I<br \/>\n    think he somehow managed to fall out of his crib! Alan says<br \/>\n    he&#8217;s not sure Lex was even awake. We shall see if he remembers<br \/>\n    this trick in the morning. (Why was he in his crib, you ask?<br \/>\n    Well, he seems to be regressing a bit and tends to request his<br \/>\n    crib instead of his bed lately.)<\/p>\n<p>On the<br \/>\n    other front, Eve has started smiling a lot. Social smiling.<br \/>\n    It&#8217;s adorable. I&#8217;ll try to get a picture sometime (I&#8217;m not so<br \/>\n    good with the pictures lately). Today I also saw her kicking at<br \/>\n    the toys on the bouncy seat. Kicking the toys makes the music<br \/>\n    play. It&#8217;s hard to tell, but she seemed to be doing it<br \/>\n    intentionally and was smiling when the music played.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For a long time now Lex has had the ability to get out of his crib, but never had the inclination.
