\"\"<\/a>We went blueberry picking on Sunday. Lex was in
\n such a mellow mood and Eve slept for most of the time. It was
\n really nice. We brought a big white bucket and two halloween
\n pumpkins to fill, then sent Lex on a mission to find the
\n blue-ist of blueberries. He did pretty good. My friend said
\n that early-season blueberries are great, but after what we
\n found I still hold to my belief that mid- to late-August is
\n really blueberry time :) But we got a lot of decent berries and
\n so I decided to try my hand at blueberry jam. Lex and I started
\n it this morning (washing, squishing, etc.) and I finished it
\n while he napped (boiling hot berries and canning). I have to
\n let it sit for 24 hours, so I’ll let you know tomorrow how it
\n came out.
