I have been having a really rough time putting Eve to bed
\n for the past two weeks. She’s normally such a great, and
\n appreciative, sleeper but lately when we put her to bed she
\n just bounces around, gets up, turns off the AC, runs around,
\n etc. I had to move her bed away from her dresser because she
\n was climbing up onto the dresser and playing with the CD
\n player. She actually successfully changed the CD one day and
\n started the new one playing. I was impressed with the skill,
\n but not impressed that she was sitting on top of her dresser.
\n So now her bed is sticking out into the middle of the room. The
\n only way she has fallen asleep for about two weeks now is when
\n we put her in our bed. Given the choice she always chooses her
\n bed, but she doesn’t acutally settle down until she’s in our
\n bed. It occured to me yesterday that maybe she’s getting too
\n big for her bed! She likes to be tucked in and have doggie and
\n both giraffes tucked in too, but the first time she rolls over
\n in her little bed with her little blankets everything gets
\n uncovered. In our bed she snuggles under the covers and passes
\n out. At nap time yesterday I put one of Lex’s top sheets on her
\n bed and tucked it in all around. She fell asleep in about two
\n minutes!! I was thrilled!! Bedtime took about 10 minutes
\n because she was distracted by a bandaid on her toe, but she
\n fell asleep in her own bed with minimal fuss. Yay!! I’m always
