Eve and I went strawberry picking this morning. We actually went yesterday morning and discovered the farm wasn’t doing PYO until today. So we bought a quart of strawberries to tide us over and went back again this morning. :) She did great. The field was very child friendly with wide rows and friendly staff. Eve ate while I picked. After awhile she said “Let’s switch sides. I’ll do the picking and you do the eating.” She makes me laugh. <\/p>\n

I didn't have my camera in the field, but here we are back at the car.<\/p><\/div>\n

Guess what we did with all (well, most) of those strawberries?!? We made jam, of course! Yummy delicious strawberry jam. The kids helped with the washing and mashing and played in the kitchen and we all had fun. I love days like this. <\/p>\n
