He was adamant about building it like the<br \/>\n    instructions say (and the picture on the box) and he refused to<br \/>\n    mix together the KidKraft set and the Thomas set. Poor Thomas<br \/>\n    couldn&#8217;t even drive on the bigger KidKraft set. I was slightly<br \/>\n    worried about his lack of creativity and whether or not having<br \/>\n    a complete set instead of just pieces was stifiling his<br \/>\n    imagination (my neighbor insists it does). But after a few days<br \/>\n    he started to loosen up on the rules and let Thomas drive on<br \/>\n    the bigger tracks, and started mixing up the tracks, and now<br \/>\n    look what he&#8217;s doing.<\/p>\n<p><a onblur=\"try\n    {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_xGc8ytldDks\/SW_q49_ccbI\/AAAAAAAAFoA\/lFHZjw2Gr98\/s1600-h\/IMG_4159.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align:\n    center; cursor: pointer; width: 400px; height: 225px;\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_xGc8ytldDks\/SW_q49_ccbI\/AAAAAAAAFoA\/lFHZjw2Gr98\/s400\/IMG_4159.JPG\" alt=\"\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5291706351617864114\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>I love it! See the trees and road signs along<br \/>\n    the way? I think he just needs to have a good grasp of the<br \/>\n    intention of things before he&#8217;s willing to deviate from it. Or<br \/>\n    something like that. Anyway, several weeks post Christmas and<br \/>\n    he is stilling loving the trains. We put them away each night<br \/>\n    and each morning brings a new and creative layout.
