After Tuesday’s disastrous trip to the toy store and yesterday’s swim adventures we decided a quiet afternoon at home was in order.\u00a0 We built giant block towers (I tried to get a picture of a great one Eve built, but she knocked it over before I got the camera!), flew and crashed Alan’s fancy Lego spaceships, and played games on the Doodle Pro.\u00a0 That thing is on it’s last leg and still a favorite toy in this house.\u00a0 Thanks Joyce!\u00a0 The kids loved hangman (though I confused Lex when I drew flowers instead of gallows) and then we played the box drawing game.\u00a0 Anyone know what this is really called?\u00a0 You start with a bunch of dots and take turns connecting them to build boxes.\u00a0 Whoever makes the most wins.\u00a0 Know what I mean?\u00a0 Lex likes the game a lot and today Eve decided to play too.\u00a0 She was surprisingly good at it!\u00a0 All of that followed by a nice dinner (mine was awesome and theirs was even moderately healthy!), happy bath, and easy bedtime.\u00a0 Life is good.<\/p>\n

Ok, she's good, but not great at it yet! She thrilled herself by drawing a box. See her backwards E in the middle? With the doggie next to it? Ts and Ls are clear, everything else is Eve's :)<\/p><\/div>\n
