Our double appointment this morning went
\n much better than last time. Lex went in for his 18 month check
\n up and ended up with a flu shot. Not surprising, he’s a healthy
\n and very smart boy. He’s up to 31″ and 24.5lbs. He even
\n counted, unprompted, for the pedi. She was impressed :) She is
\n very nice too. I’m excited to have found a nice doctor who is
\n planning on staying in the area for awhile. She even gave me
\n her email address! The only tiny drawback is that she’s having
\n a baby (her 2nd) in April, so she’ll be on maternity leave when
\n my 2nd is tiny. We’ll see how that goes. I’m still happier than
\n I’ve been in awhile following a pedi appointment.<\/p>\n
We then grabbed a snack (love those blueberry
\n muffins) and went to my 23 week check up. We saw the midwife
\n who delivered Lex. She was much nicer today than I recall her
\n being in the delivery room. Her and a midwife in training
\n measured my belly and listened to the baby’s heartbeat. All
\n very good and right on schedule. She was impressed with my 12lb
\n weight gain. I’m trying hard to gain less than I did with Lex,
\n since I started out higher. I’ll have to go back and check my
\n old blog to compare. ‘Cause that’s important, ya know. Lex
\n happily read books and walked around when they examined me. The
\n silly boy even went up to both of them when they first got
\n their and shook their hands. :) He’s so funny.<\/p>\n
Then I celebrated two good appointments with a
