{"id":1409,"date":"2009-11-03T22:29:10","date_gmt":"2009-11-04T02:29:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/familyblog.datdec.com\/?p=1409"},"modified":"2009-11-03T22:29:10","modified_gmt":"2009-11-04T02:29:10","slug":"more-arts-and-crafts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/familyblog.datdec.com\/?p=1409","title":{"rendered":"More arts and crafts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tell me if you get bored of these posts.\u00a0 They amuse me, but I&#8217;m a little biased.\u00a0 On second thought, I&#8217;m in charge here so if you&#8217;re bored feel free to click to the next link in your reader ;)<\/p>\n<p><strong>New piggy banks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Eve&#8217;s piggy bank sprang a leak last week (&#8220;Some of us are carrying over six dollars in change here!&#8221;) and so we finally got around to making new banks yesterday.\u00a0 I had visions of fancy drawings on each side, but they did their own thing.\u00a0 Lex decided to draw on the paper sideways (from what I had intended) and therefore lots of the underlying tissue box is showing.\u00a0 Eve decided that glue was her friend, so I snipped up lots of little shapes and she went to town.\u00a0 They both had a blast making the projects and moving the money from the sad old piggies to the fresh new boxes.\u00a0 Lex counted his change and proudly announced that he has 65 coins!\u00a0 That made me laugh because he lost is place several times and started over, so he really has way more than 65, but he was super proud of that number :)<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1410\" style=\"width: 396px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/familyblog.datdec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/newcamera15.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1410\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1410\" title=\"Piggy bank collage\" src=\"http:\/\/familyblog.datdec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/newcamera15-386x500.jpg\" alt=\"New &quot;piggy&quot;
