{"id":1336,"date":"2009-10-12T21:25:50","date_gmt":"2009-10-13T01:25:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/familyblog.datdec.com\/?p=1336"},"modified":"2009-10-12T21:25:50","modified_gmt":"2009-10-13T01:25:50","slug":"sweet-lex","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/familyblog.datdec.com\/?p=1336","title":{"rendered":"Sweet Lex"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lex is so sweet.\u00a0 Here are a few things that make me smile.<\/p>\n<p>At bedtime tonight I was laying with him and he started rubbing my eyebrows, back and forth.\u00a0 Weird.\u00a0 I asked what he was doing and he said, &#8220;Rubbing your eyebrows.\u00a0 Mom, they are so soft!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>After crossing off a few days on his calendar, Lex walked into the kitchen and said, &#8220;Mom, I&#8217;m sorry my writing is so wobbly.&#8221;\u00a0 So cute.\u00a0 Alan says that is from a Winnie the Pooh book.\u00a0 Lex has told me several times that his writing is too wobbly.\u00a0 I keep telling him to just keep practicing.<\/p>\n<p>Also at bedtime tonight I was laying with him and after a few minutes he asked if I wanted to get under the covers.\u00a0 I said no thank you.\u00a0 Several minutes, and much coughing (we both have serious coughs lately!), Lex said &#8220;Mom, you really should get under the covers to keep your chest warm.&#8221;\u00a0 I tell him regularly to zip up his sweatshirt to keep his chest warm to help his cough get better.\u00a0 So cute to hear him echoing back, and being so concerned.<\/p>\n<p>I love him!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lex is so sweet.\u00a0 Here are a few things that make me smile.
