Eve had a friend from school and I had Elizabeth.\u00a0 Lex decided he would be happy with Alistair and we all had a great time.\u00a0 Partway through the afternoon the girls decided to go outside.\u00a0 The boys wanted to too, but A had no snow pants so they stay in and played a game instead.\u00a0 Elizabeth and I drank tea and got caught up.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After the friend left we all took a few minutes to breath.\u00a0 Fun often equals loud and chaotic and we all needed a little downtime.\u00a0 After awhile I put my mom hat back on and went to start the bedtime process.\u00a0 This is what I saw when I went into Eve&#8217;s room:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/familyblog.datdec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/wpid-wp-14184439821061.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"wp-1418443982106\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/familyblog.datdec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/wpid-wp-14184439821061.jpeg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/familyblog.datdec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/wpid-wp-1418443992389.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"wp-1418443992389\" class=\"alignnone size-full\"  alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/familyblog.datdec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/wpid-wp-1418443992389.jpeg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Plus Eve, curled up in her bed, surrounded by books.\u00a0 No wonder they went outside.\u00a0 There was no floor space left in the room!!\u00a0 Amazingly she did a great job cleaning up, despite the late hour and busy day.\u00a0 Lex too was curled up in his chair, book in hand.\u00a0 In this house we love friends, but we also love quiet time with books!\u00a0 &#x1f495;&#x1f4da;&#x1f4d6;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We had a fun afternoon with friends the other day.\u00a0 (Tech trouble prevented this from getting posted for a few days.)
