“This is not what I expected,” said Lex, standing at the top of the stairs at naptime today.\u00a0 I had put him to bed about 10 minutes earlier and he had bopped around and woke Eve up.\u00a0 I was none too pleased, to say the least!\u00a0 So I put him in my bed for quiet time instead (I just wasn’t for a naptime fight with him and really wanted her to sleep more).\u00a0 Eve went right back to sleep and Lex stayed in my room for a few minutes.\u00a0 Then he came out and stood at the top of the stairs and said “This is not what I expected.”\u00a0\u00a0 I replied, “What did you expect?” and he said he expected to be laying in his bed, sleeping.\u00a0 I gave him one more chance and made him promise (for what that’s worth!) not to wake Eve up again.\u00a0 He crawled into his bed and fell right asleep.\u00a0 :)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
